Wyoming is not just cowboys, livestock and hundreds of thousands of miles of uninhabited nature, but also the home state of fly fishing. The Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks, with their famous Snake and Green Rivers make this place the perfect place, where you will be able to make a grand slam of the three most coveted species of trout that inhabit its waters. The Green river por example is well known for its large population of brown, rainbow and cutthroat trouts.
The highlight of this trip is the possibility to combine both drifting and wading trips in different sections of the Green, Snake and North Platte rivers and wading in some creeks at the Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. There are also multiple lakes in the area, in which you will find some of the native species: Cutthroats from snake and colorado rivers, but Golden, lake and brook trout as well.
The Seedskadee National Wildlife Refuge is a special regulation area, in which just a few fishing guides have the permission for drifting the river. That’s why the odds of catching a trophy trout increase considerably during this trip.
The adventure doesn’t finish here. As we explained before, one of Wyoming’s highlights is the possibility of fishing in remote areas, situated in the National Parks all over this State. Areas where you will be impressed by its beauty, where you will find not just fish, but different species of wild animals, like bison, deer, antelopes and bears.
Don’t wait too long until someone tells you all about it and use this chance to join this amazing adventure and have the experience on your own!
