Fly Fishing in the Spanish Pyrenees

At three-hours driving from the city of Barcelona there is our most precious  fishing gem: The Catalan Pyrenees. The well-known Noguera Pallaresa, Ribagorzana and Cardós are some of the rivers we will fish during the trip, combining these ones with other freestone creeks and hidden alpine mountain lakes of outstanding beauty where mediterranean brown trout, rainbows and brook trouts inhabit.

This region offers a perfect combination between medium-sized rivers, small pristine creeks and high mountain lakes suitable for all types of anglers.

The other attractive feature that the area offers is, without any doubt, its gastronomy. A perfect fishing day always should be accompanied by a feast.

Our lodge is located in the small and cozy village of Àreu, a gateway of the Alt Pirineu Natural Parc. This extensive protected area hosts high peaks, deep valleys and glacial lakes. 

The lodge provides a large-range accommodation spaces depending on size of the group. Cozy full-equipped apartments for small groups of (1-3 people) up to our bigger 6-people apartment. All of them have a kitchen and a spacious living room with views of the mountains. 

The main building offer our guests a local cuisine restaurant and a cozy “ANGLER’S SPACE” where you can stay relaxed after dinner, tie flies or drink something with your fishing buddies and guides.
